SCCOE Recognizes Thi Le-Nguyen as Teacher of the Year!

The Teacher Recognition Celebration every fall honors Santa Clara County's finest teachers, and this year, FMSD has selected Thi Le-Nguyen. She is a teacher at Jeanne R. Meadows Elementary and will be recognized this Thursday, September 29th during a special ceremony hosted by the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

Annual Food Drive

Please help support Meadows' annual food drive by donating canned goods and non-perishable items to help needy families in our community this Thanksgiving.

Students can begin to bring donated food items on Monday November 14th. Students were given plastic bags on Friday November 11th for this purpose. Students can then place their donations directly in the food bins along the hallway of the cafeteria according to their grade level. The food drive runs through Monday November 21st.

Parent Teacher Conference Week

It's that time of year to meet with your child's teacher to discuss their progress to date.

Parent teacher conferences are the week of November 14th to November 18th. The students are released at 1:15 daily this week in order to allow teachers time to meet with parents to discuss their child's academic and behavioral progress since August. If you have not already set up your conference with your child's teacher then please contact them right away to do so.
