About Me

I am one of two Curriculum Support Specialists at Meadows Elementary School. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Adolescent Development and a Masters in Education and I've been working for the Franklin McKinley School District for 9 years. I am originally from the South Bay and have since moved to the East Bay. I continue to serve and work in this district because I believe in what we are doing here. The work that we have put forth and the dreams we have for our students is what drives each of us here each day. Having lost a parent when I was nine, there has always been a desire in me to connect with other students going through similar struggles being raised by a single parent. The struggles of every child whether they are academic, socio-emotional, or behavioral are all important and can deeply impact each child's view of their own potential. We are are here to help them navigate through their struggles and to guide them toward their capacity to reach achieve their personal best. Beyond the school day, I am a mom of two boys and a family photographer. Capturing life, changes, and successes have become my favorite past time both professionally and personally.
