Principal's Message

A warm welcome to both returning and new families at Meadows! My name is Magdalena Moore, and I am entering my 17th year as principal of Meadows which speaks to just how much I love this place and all the people in it. My son spent 8 years of his educational journey at Meadows and those years prepared him to be inclusive, be a problem solver and to understand his effort matches his outcome.

The Meadows staff continues to awe me with their focus on continuous growth, their professionalism, their genuine care for our community and the dedication they show well beyond the hours we see. No matter which class your child is assigned to, know they will be loved and supported while being held to high expectations.

Connecting with parents, guardians and the greater Meadows community has been such a joy. The understanding that we are partners in this together for the better of children and the future has benefitted students and strengthened our community. The most important thing you can do is be sure your child is at school each day on time so they don't miss out on essential learning. Being late just 10 minutes a day is 1800 minutes/ 30 hours/5 full days of lost instruction.

We have an active Parent club that meets monthly on Friday mornings after drop off to partner in bringing community events and being a voice for our parent community. All are welcome and we will share more information about involvement opportunities at our Back to School NIght on Thursday, August 13.
